# kiln desktop

> Build a desktop app from the same source tree as your web app.

## Build a desktop app

`kiln desktop` builds a windowed app from the same source tree as your web app.

Window, tray, menus, signing and auto-update are part of the binary. There is no plugin to install and no second runtime to ship.
